This is called “life goals.”
Life hack: met an elderly lady who lives across the street from Six Flags. Says every year she buys a season pass with a meal plan and eats all her meals at the amusement park. In one conversation I figured out what kind of old person I want to be.

This reminds me of a story I read about an old lady who sold her house and everything else and went to live on a cruise ship. It ended up being less than assisted living etc and she didn’t have to do anything for upkeep and always had people to talk to. !!!

We had an elderly man who took all his meals in my college cafeteria. He was single, never married, and no children. He remarked once that it was like having a few hundred grandkids at any given time.

5. Mom and Pop motel.
And the cable TV is free!
My boss lived in a local mom & pop motel. His monthly rates were around $400 at this particular place. He argued, ‘where else can I get maid service, my room cleaned & bed made every day, have no water or electric bill, and cable TV is free’ (included in the monthly payment).

6. Half price!
She’s got it figured out.
There is this elderly lady that comes by on sundays to dance where l work and she always pays for the tourist tour just so she can get half price beer and pictures taken to dend her friends
She also has pink hair, got a tatto and dresses more trendy than most people my age

7. Talk of the town.
Everyone knew him.
I worked at a high end motel in the 80s. 1 room was occupied by a man in his 90s. Came to the area looking for a retirement home & found it cheaper to live in the motel. His rate was something like $25/day. He ate meals in the dining room or in his room. Everyone knew him.

Actually, for one!
My retired Dad loved to eat lunch at the local hospital cafeteria. Then he would bring home delicious chicken parmigiana, dinner for two for $4.00!
