In Walmart, that is!

And, while it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that Walmart has security cameras, a customer’s claims on TikTok about the extent of the company surveillance might surprise you…

Take a look at this video that was uploaded to TikTok.

And then a follow-up video was posted where the woman talks about how Walmart’s cameras can track customers around the store and can see and even scan all items that they pick up.

The woman claims that Walmart might wait to have people arrested and prosecuted for shoplifting until they’ve stolen an amount of merchandise that would result in a felony.

I guess they figure the small potatoes aren’t really worth it…

Take a look at the second video that she posted about this topic.

Now let’s see what folks had to say about this on TikTok.

One person said,

“They spending more money on surveillance than the workers.”

Another viewer added,

“They can do all that, but I still see videos on here every day of people getting stopped by employees on a power trip, wanting a receipt at the door.”

And one TikTokker commented,

“This happened to a coworker. she went to court for traffic tickets and they showed her video of her stealing from WM, arrested her on the spot.”
