There aren’t many things on this planet that make me as happy as seeing innocent animals get rescued and adopted into loving homes.

There are soooooo many beautiful dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. out there who are abandoned, mistreated, and neglected that it gets me very angry.

And I’m willing to bet that a lot of you out there feel exactly the same way…

But we’re here today to celebrate the good stories about pets being rescued and taken in to loving homes where they can all live their best lives.

Let’s take a look!

1. A great decision.

I love hearing stories like this.

Took a chance, and decided to rehabilitate this boy instead of letting him be put down. One of the best decisions of my life.

2. He used to be defeated.

But not anymore. Look at him now!

Moo Moo 😊.

3. What a turnaround.

He looks like a very good boy.

Top left – abandoned, scared, and hungry. Top right – first day home. Bottom – two months later he’s happy, well-fed, dearly loved, and totally in charge!

4. Found way out in the jungle.

And now he’s a Canadian, eh?

Adopted this little dude while on vacation in Mexico. The litter was found in the jungle in terrible shape but were nursed back to health by the local animal rescue foundation. Here he is today healthy, happy and adapting well to his new life as a Canadian!

5. I hate it when people “lose interest” in their pets.

It’s a lifetime commitment, people!

Violet was an easter present to a young child who lost interest. She was kept in tiny wire cage in their basement and forgotten about. Now she lives cage-free and sleeps in bed with me every night.

6. Never let me go.

Don’t worry, you’ll always be safe and sound from now on.

From “take me home” to “never let me go”. We adore our little dude.

7. Back from the edge.

This is a sad one, but you did a good thing.

8. On to bigger and better things.

And I love the name, by the way! Maverick!

6 months after being rescued from an abusive home, meet Maverick reddit!!

9. A totally different story.

Nursed back to health.

Kira was founded almost dead of starvation in a farm with cows. She was healthy in one week and we kept her. Summer 2018.

10. Now living the life he deserves.

That’s a good boy! Enjoy yourself, Jake!

This is Jake. We adopted him in January and he is a senior. All it took was some love (and many belly rubs) and I’m happy to say he’s finally living the life he always deserved.

11. This one is pretty heartbreaking.

But we’re glad that you are now safe and sound.
