Instagram is where to go if you want to check out radical innovations in fashion. Every day, professionals and amateurs come up with dozens of new hairdos, outfits, nail designs, just to name a few.

But when I say “innovative,” I do not mean to imply “good.” Because even though these creations do have their fans, just as many people react with horror. Remember Hairy Selfie Nails? We try not to.

Today’s masterpiece/monstrosity comes from Nail Sunny, (via Bored Panda), a nail salon and nail art chain based in Russia. They’re known for wacky nail designs, but this one may well be a bridge too far. Presenting, Teeth Nails. Yep:

What a great way to commemorate a recent root canal!

Maybe Molar Nails are a good thing. The molar performs an important function, mashing up our food for digestion, but they’re relegated to the back of the mouth where no one can see them. Maybe they deserve a moment in the spotlight!

If you’re short on roubles and want to make these nails yourself, first you put a conical cap on each nail, then paint over it with white acrylic to make the teeth. If you’re really ambitious, mix in a little black acrylic to simulate a cavity. Check out the entire process below.

The Teeth Nails have racked up over 15,000 likes so far on Nail Sunny’s Instagram, and it’s not the first time they’ve gone viral with an edgy nail design. Earlier this year, Nail Sunny introduced a twerking Kim Kardashian nail design:

And many, many, MANY more.

Whether you love these designs or you hate them, one thing’s indisputably true: in America, you bite your nails, but in Russia, nails bite you.
