These days, you can’t go on Facebook or any other social media site without seeing someone share a post from the Google Art Selfie app. Officially called the Arts & Culture App, the way this app works is simple: you provide a selfie, and Google matches it with one of the thousands of paintings in its database, helping you find your doppelganger from the art world.
The app has taken the Internet by storm, already racking up over 30 million downloads. People love when the app gets it right…

But they love it just as much, if not more, when the app whiffs big time…

That’s why one of our readers, who’s an art teacher by trade, decided to see just how badly the app can screw up. Honestly, we can’t think of anything more 2018 than pranking a software program. Welcome to the future.
1. Not bad!
2. Still kind of close.
3. Hmmm…
4. Nope.
5. Way off.
6. Swing and a miss.
7. Google, did you even try?
8. Maybe the app is drunk.
9. That’s it, Google, you’re cut off.
10. NAILED IT!
