12 Actor Headshots From Before They Were Famous

When a movie star sustains a long and successful career, it’s hard to imagine them as a struggling actor. Commanding $20 million a picture is a far cry from waiting tables and rushing to auditions all the time.

But most of them did start out that way, and we have the headshots to prove it! I’m not an actor, but I know many, and trust me when I tell you that headshots are no fun. You get all dressed up, you pose for hundreds of photos, and then you try to pick The One that’s going to grab the attention of casting directors all over town. (Whereas, if you’re a writer, you can get jobs even if you never bathe!)

It’s definitely a shock to see the early headshots of famous actors. Back in the 80’s, she archived many of her clients’ headshots, and years later when they were famous, she shared them with the world. You can definitely see the difference a couple decades makes. Some of these stars look like completely different people!
