Ladies, be honest with us: how often does a member of the opposite sex mansplain something to you?

If you’re not familiar with that term, it’s defined as “the explanation of something by a man, typically to a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing.”

It’s probably happened a decent amount of times in your life, right?

Well, on behalf of all men, I apologize…

These ladies went on the record on Twitter to share infuriating stories of when guys felt the need to mansplain something to them…ugh.

1. Appalled by it.

That is very rude.

2. Guide me in.

That’s just bizarre.

3. Did you know that?

He must have been a scientist.

4. Ouch. Not a good one.

Mom almost punched him.

5. I’m actually an expert.

And you’re not.

6. You blew it!

Don’t talk about things you don’t know about.

7. Oh, my…

It is pretty complicated.

8. Get out of my space.

Especially during these times.

9. Will you stop talking?

What an idiot.

10. I just said that…

Some people…

11. This old classic.

Guys…stop acting dumb.

Will it ever end…? Who knows…

But now we want to hear your stories.

In the comments, tell us about the times you’ve had something mansplained to you.

Please and thank you!
