I had a dog named Quincy when I was growing up and he was quite a character.

He loved a lot of things: his red bandana, his food (of course), chilling on the couch with me, and, of course, his favorite toy. It was a squeaky hamburger that he loved to carry around with him, even if he went out in the backyard to chase squirrels or on a walk around the neighborhood.

And when he inevitably destroyed the hamburger, it was time to get him a new one that was an exact replica. Quincy was one smart cookie and we knew better than to try to pull a fast one on him.

And these pets have the same mindset with their favorite toys.
