I don’t know about you, but I’m constantly seeing people in my feeds on Instagram and Facebook trying REALLY, REALLY HARD to make their pets (and in turn, themselves) “social media famous.”

Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, you name it.

So if that’s what you’re trying to do, take this advice to heart. It might be time for me to buy a ferret…

1. Make sure your pet is adopted

The sympathy factor goes a loooooooong way.

2. Find a niche

3. Hide your looks with cool outfits

Is Tuna the greatest looking dog you’ve ever seen? No, but dammit, he knows how to wear those threads! Dapper!

4. Make friends with celebrities

Seems easy enough…

5. Have a missing limb or a handicap

People love seeing happy dogs with three legs or one eye. You know you can’t look at a pic like that and not say, “awwwwwwww.”

Now that you have the insider tips, get out there and make your furry friends famous!
