Part of being a celebrity is constantly finding new ways to get the public’s attention, and a great way to do that is to show wear an insane outfit. Everyone still remembers that one time Lady Gaga showed up to an event in a dress made entirely out of meat, and that happened all the way back in 2010.
The problem is, an eye-catching dress worthy of the VMAs or the Oscars ain’t cheap. They’re often made by a highly sought designer, and they can cost about as much as a car or a year of college tuition.
