When I first started college, I quickly realized that my high school experience didn’t do a great job of preparing me for the rigors of a university.

I think I was fine emotionally and I’ve always been pretty independent, but when it came to academics, I realized I had a lot of work to do and it wasn’t going to be a walk in the park.

So I adapted, worked hard, and got through it. And it turned out to be the greatest nine years of my life! Just kidding…

These tweeters talked about what they didn’t learn in high school that they quickly realized in college. Here’s what they had to say.

1. That’s my seat!

Funny how that works out…

2. How does this happen every time?

You guys are worthless!

3. You did a great job!

And you deserve to treat yourself.

4. Why did I stay home to watch cartoons?

Oh s**t, I missed a test!

5. Now how do you feel?

Smarty pants…

6. Yeah, this is pretty much it.

Keep forking over the money!

7. Let’s thin out the herd a little bit.

Parking would be nice…

8. This is so hilarious.

Listen, son, you’re at the wrong college.

She did the right thing.

11. That guy is a genius.

No more judgment.
