When I first started college, I quickly realized that my high school experience didn’t do a great job of preparing me for the rigors of a university.
I think I was fine emotionally and I’ve always been pretty independent, but when it came to academics, I realized I had a lot of work to do and it wasn’t going to be a walk in the park.
So I adapted, worked hard, and got through it. And it turned out to be the greatest nine years of my life! Just kidding…
These tweeters talked about what they didn’t learn in high school that they quickly realized in college. Here’s what they had to say.
1. That’s my seat!
Funny how that works out…
High school: "assigned seating is so stupid"
College: "why is he sitting in my seat? That's my seat… I sit there everyday"

2. How does this happen every time?
You guys are worthless!
Welcome to college. Where every single person is smarter than you except for the 3 people in your group project.

3. You did a great job!
And you deserve to treat yourself.
My first college test I got a 68 and actually cried in the classroom.
Today I got a 52 on an exam and I took myself out for chicken tenders.

4. Why did I stay home to watch cartoons?
Oh s**t, I missed a test!
Y’all ever skip a class and then have the post skip class depression? Like damn I should’ve just went

5. Now how do you feel?
Smarty pants…

6. Yeah, this is pretty much it.
Keep forking over the money!
“How do you describe college?”
I’m teaching myself a class that I’m paying for

7. Let’s thin out the herd a little bit.
Parking would be nice…
STOP ENCOURAGING EVERYONE TO GO TO COLLEGE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PARKING

10. That’s called a HERO.
She did the right thing.
Yesterday a girl walked into class with an iced coffee and my prof told her she couldn’t have it so she just walked out and never came back and I can’t stop thinking about it
