Every generation has its moment in the sun.
When you’re young and on top of the world, and you really, honestly believe that you are the center of the universe and that you’ll never look at old photos of you and your friends and be embarrassed…
Because you were THE COOLEST…
Well, Millennials, I’m sorry to say that today is your day of reckoning.
Hey, it’s not all bad! It’s fun to look back at the stuff you used to do and believe and to have some laughs at your own expense. It’s just part of life.
But yes, you should still be embarrassed by these things. Let’s take a look.
1. You had to deal with a lot.
And that part was REALLY bad.

You had to let everyone know what you were all about.
Decorated my Myspace page so that when you’d open it the first thing you’d hear is the loudest linkin park song.

5. This is a whole mood.
Do you remember these days?
Learned my middle school drill team’s dance routine to Toxic by Britney Spears by practicing from an illegal Limewire download burned to a CD and played in a portable silver radio/cassette which was decorated with sparkly scented stickers

8. You gotta wait til 9 pm!
Don’t want to munch up those minutes.
Wait until after 9pm to make calls on a cell phone because calls were free on nights and weekends otherwise it uses your minutes.

9. That was always a bummer.
Waiting…and waiting…and waiting…
Spent two hours downloading a ‘new’ Radiohead song from Napster, then finding out it was an Elvis Costello cover.
