If you’ve ever been to Las Vegas or Los Angeles, you’ve seen the seemingly endless parade of celebrity impersonators plying their trade along busy streets looking to make a buck.

Photographer Nicolas Silberfaden takes studio portraits of the many celebrity impersonators in his adopted hometown of LA, and a lot of them are just regular folks who lost their jobs and are trying to get by.

Take a look at these folks and you might feel a little sorry for them.
