There’s not much out there that’s as wholesome as photos of rescue pets.
All of these animals were given a new lease on life when generous humans decided to take them into their homes and you can’t bet that they’re all living their best lives with people who spoil them rotten.

On the left is Emmy at the shelter, way to skinny and unhealthy, And on the right is Emmy a year after we adopted her. Once she got all healthy all her beautiful floof grew in! My sweet girl❤️

4 years ago I adopted my very first cat from the shelter. She was malnourished, terrified, and had her claws taken away from her. Her owner of 5 years surrendered her and she lost all motivation to live. Both of our lives changed for the best that day and I haven’t stopped loving her since.
