I love it when people open up their homes and let us in to see what exactly is going on in there…especially when it’s the really weird stuff!
Because you really never know what’s going on people’s houses or what the heck they’re hiding in there until you’re invited inside…it’s kind of like the whole vampire rule…
Anyway, here’s the tweet that got a pretty epic thread kicked off.
Right, Twitter. Please reply/quote this with a picture of the UGLIEST THING THAT YOU OWN.
Something so vile and awful that you can't get rid of it, because you know you'll never own anything as ghastly ever again.

So let’s see what’s going on behind closed doors, shall we?
1. The evil shell cat.
It’s staring into your soul.
We call it “evil shell cat” and it has a theme tune. pic.twitter.com/z3McrovYgZ

2. Straight out of Donnie Darko.
At least it was cheap…
Apparently this was a custom-made souvenir from Jersey Zoo. What animal it’s actually meant to represent is, and probably always shall be a mystery. Best £1 I’ve ever spent pic.twitter.com/QGyKv9LETB

3. Yikes…that is strange.
But also kind of fascinating.
This is one of the things my mum insisted I personally had to keep when we cleared out my grandma’s house. I have no idea what it is pic.twitter.com/QoAEzXrIiA

4. No doubt that thing is cursed.
You might want to keep it in the garage…

5. Takes up a lot of space.
And is also kind of terrible to look at…sorry…
This is Sid. He also has a lion’s tail. I love him. pic.twitter.com/FrN33CupZM

6. A masterpiece.
Of what, I don’t know…
Oh, everyone else can give up now, I win pic.twitter.com/T3o4SG9nok

7. Get that thing out of the house!
Summoning evil spirits.
My boy did this and it stares at me still from a window sill:https://t.co/qZCrI5uMNu

8. Going for a ride.
I can’t tell if that squirrel is alive or dead.
Okay, everyone shut up, it’s my time to shine pic.twitter.com/LhynNWFWnE

9. That is terrifying.
Melting eyes…uh uh.
I made this in a porcelain class as a child (it’s from a mold, I didn’t sculpt it and I had help). I love how rediculous and creepy it is. I plan to make a fake succulent to stick in it. Also if you look close, the eyes look like they are melting pic.twitter.com/UK4eCDcmqt

10. You allowed that in your bedroom.
You are very brave.
My Mum owns this but it was in my bedroom from when I was born until I was about 10. pic.twitter.com/olPMXbIJ7X

11. Love and hate relationship.
Just consider it Pop Art.
I actually love this painting, but can also grasp it’s ugliness. It was a mother’s day gift from my MIL, who asked her co-worker to paint a portrait of my daughter, in “an Andy Warhol style” ?
My daughter doesn’t look like this, to be clear. But I do love this thing! pic.twitter.com/XA0DpgAOdz

12. Touching…and cursed…
Put it in the attic.
When we first moved into our current house, a dear friend decided to paint us a “family portrait”. It is huge and touching and very deeply cursed. pic.twitter.com/a4wHldwKyh

13. You’re being watched.
By a homicidal doll…
My MIL owns this but she doesnt have twitter (or taste) it “watches” you use the loo pic.twitter.com/WwLlHWOhRw
