People Are Selling Water From Disney World’s Splash Mountain Now That the Ride Has Closed

People will do anything to make a buck these days, huh?

You know that’s the truth!

And that includes selling water from Disney World’s famous Splash Mountain ride on eBay…in various receptacles.

The ride has been a fan favorite for decades at the Disney park in Florida. It opened in 1989 and closed for good on January 23, 2023. The ride was based on the 1946 film Song of the South. That film has been called out as r**ist by contemporary audiences and petitions demanding change circulated online. In 2020, Disney announced that both Splash Mountain rides at the parks in Florida and California would be reimagined.

The closing of Splash Mountain in Florida led folks to grab water from the ride while they could to try to make some money.

The iconic water ride was shut down and will undergo a makeover and will emerge as “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” in 2024. The new ride is based on the 2009 film The Princess and the Frog.

For example, this water from Splash Mountain is for sale on eBay for a hefty $250.

And this bottle of Splash mountain water is for sale for a whopping $1,000.

Yes, you read that correctly….ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
