When I was a kid, there was a cat that would follow me home down my street almost every day.
His name was Fritz and I knew he lived somewhere on my street, I was just never sure which family he belonged to. Fritz would follow me all the way to my front door and then he would stand and stare at me with a look on his face that said, “well, are you gonna invite me in, or what?”
I never did because we had other pets in the house, but my point is that if cats want to make a new friend or get into someone’s home, they’ll do their damndest to get it done. Fritz got pretty close, but it just didn’t happen…
But these cats definitely got inside the houses of complete strangers!
I have a feeling these people might have new, permanent houseguests from this point on.
1. That is now your cat.
I don’t think you have a choice.
2. Here’s the story.
Good old Sam.
3. A happy ending.
You did a good thing!
4. Swirl was a good kitty.
And he took other kitties in, too!
5. Ted just made himself at home.
Have a drink!
6. Are you comfortable?
I love this cat!
7. This is amazing!
Staredown over a house that neither of them belong to.
8. How did you get up there?
Now, isn’t that interesting…
9. Crowded house.
This is getting a little bit out of control.
10. He’s moving in.
And he’s in charge of the remote control.
11. Hitchin’ a ride.
Where are we going?
12. Now part of the family.
You picked the right house!
13. Ummmm, that might not be a cat…
But what do I know?
Those posts are great!
How about you?
Have you ever had an unannounced visitor show up like this?
If so, tell us all about it in the comments!
