Mark Wahlberg Sold His Mansion at a Multi-Million Dollar Discount After Leaving California for Nevada

A lot of celebrities seem to be making the move out of California these days and now you can add Mark Wahlberg to the list.

The actor, producer, restauranteur, and jack-of-all-trades recently sold his mansion in Los Angeles and uprooted his family for a new life in Nevada. Wahlberg sold his L.A. home at a multi-million dollar discount for $55 million in February 2023.

The actor said he wanted to “to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams — whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer — this made a lot more sense for us.”

He added that he wants to lobby for better tax credits in Nevada and to “build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0.”

The home Walhberg sold sits on 6.2 acres in L.A.’s exclusive North Beverly Park. The home is 30,500 square feet and has 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms.

Wahlberg bought the property in 2009 for $8.25 million and construction was completed in 2014.

The compound has a 5-hole golf course, a driving range, a skate park, and a guest house, as well as many other features.
