Italian Guy Recreates Celebrity Outfits With Household Items

Even if you’re an avid fan of celebrities and fashion, sometimes it can feel like you’re constantly bombarded with requests for your attention. That’s why we love it when someone comes along and pokes fun at celebrities who show off their looks on Instagram. The latest master of mockery is Italian college student Emanuele Ferrari.

He posts on his Instagram page, @_emilife. Since starting his project in 2014, Ferrari has racked up over 660,000 followers with his inventive parodies. His original inspiration was the wild world of high fashion.  “I noticed how some clothes in the fashion world were really so absurd and in my mind I recreated them with material I had at home. So I decided to open my account and get crazy,” he told Bored Panda.

Ferrari’s work is as impressive as it is funny. Part of the fun is seeing how he transforms everyday items like toilet paper and egg cartons into outfits that actually resemble expensive fashion. In fact, his work is almost more impressive than the original, considering what he had to work with.
