Has true crime as an overall genre ever been more popular than it is right now?

I think the answer to that is definitely a big NO.

Everyone and their sister seem to be super into true crime books, movies, TV shows, documentaries, you name it. I even know some people who belong to book clubs that are specifically about true crime stories.

You all are sick people! And so am I, apparently, because I have to admit that I can’t get enough of it, either. So who am I to judge…?

So, because we are all obviously very disturbed, let’s enjoy some true crime memes together!
