There’s cheap and then there’s just downright shady.
And today you’re gonna see some people admitting to the latter…
Take a look at the shady life hacks that people shared to save some money…but you might not want to try any of them in your own life.
Just sayin’…
1. All about the sauce.
During your student days.
Went into an Arby’s and pumped a Tupperware container full of the sauce. Went to the store and bought my own roast beef deli meat to make sandwiches with the sauce. Poor student days. I’m sorry @Arbys ?

2. Did what you had to do.
Can’t go without that.
In college I used to take all the toilet paper out the hotel rooms when we went on track meets. I lived in apartment type dorms and the school didn’t provide that for us. ?

3. This is awesome.
Sounds like an uncomfortable trip.
I didn’t feel like paying for luggage on a flight so I wore like 8 bras and like 4 oversized t-shirts then stuffed my laptop bag with underwear and other clothes. It was an 8 hour flight with a layover ?

4. Nice work!
I can support this.
My sister went to a dealership to “test drive”
a truck, then went to home depot to haul a grill home.— Classic Catering (@Classicatering) August 31, 2020
5. Life goals achieved.
You did it!
I photoshopped a meter ticket to prove I had paid the meter. I got out of a PPA ticket. Any Philly people here … you know that’s peak Philly. Beating the PPA is life goals.

6. Get to work.
Can’t believe you pulled it off.
We were about to move out of a rental but had knocked some serious holes in the walls. Instead of fixing it, we covered the holes with wet newspaper and painted over them. Got the deposit back and never heard anything about it ever again.

7. In bloom.
Pretty cool that this works.
I go to the garden section of Walmart and browse through the succulents. There’s always leaves that have fallen off. I take them home, lay them in some dirt and in a couple weeks they bloom new leaves. ?
Endless supply of succulents

8. You are awful.
At least you can admit it.
self-checkout grocery, get a few bottles of wine and scan the cheap one 4 times and bag the expensive ones. I’m awful.

9. Did what you had to do.
How was the pizza, by the way?
In college I remember I only had $6.87 in my account, an empty tank, and 4 days till my next paycheck. So I bought a Little Ceaser $5 pizza for my next couple of meals and then got $28 worth of gas and went negative in my account so at least I could still get to work

10. This is just wrong.
I bet they don’t have this policy anymore.
Amazing!
Nordstrom’s used to have a return policy rule where even without a receipt and whether damaged or not they accept any return.
We would go shopping before nights out in the city, take tags off and then return the smoke / alcohol stank clothes back the next day.— DP (@CAPTAINPEARLNYK) August 31, 2020
11. Photoshop coming in handy.
Hookin’ up the homies.
In college I used to photoshop fake guest parking passes for my friends to use at my housing lot. Saved them $12/day x dozens of visits. I’m not about to charge the homies to come hang out with me!!
