I was at my sister’s house a few weeks ago and she decided to put her two cats, Mac and Leo, out on her screened-in porch while we ate dinner because she knew they’d likely jump up on her kitchen counter and try to eat some of the food that was leftover.
While Mac snoozed on a chair in the sunshine, Leo pawed furiously at the door with a look of panic in his eyes because he’d been banished to the porch for about 45 minutes. He didn’t stop crying loudly and scratching for the ENTIRE MEAL.
What’s my point, you ask?
It’s that cats are incredibly DRAMATIC.
And if you have a cat, you already know that, right?

I’m extremely blessed to have my own tiny lifeguard. Except, instead of using a whistle or attempting to save me. He screams at me in terror… the entire time.
