There’s no getting around it: sometimes, cats can be jerks. No matter what an owner wants from a cat–furniture not to be shredded, objects not to be batted onto the floor, rodents to be left alone and not left on a brand new duvet–cats are known for doing whatever they please.

In recent years, pet owners have been sharing their furry friends’ misdeeds with “pet shaming,” where they post a picture of the offending animal along with a sign detailing exactly what the pet did. It’s always hilarious, and today we’ve got a selection of “cat shaming photos” via Bored Panda and the cat_shaming Instagram account.

And you know what? Even if cats could read, we bet none of this shaming would change a thing. You can’t shame a cat when they already DGAF.
