Let’s play a little word association. When I say “1980’s,” what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Ronald Reagan? Pet Rocks? Beverly Hills Cop? I bet most of us have different answers. The 80’s were such a distinctive decade that it’s difficult to choose just one thing that defines it, but for my money, one thing quintessentially 80′ was the hairstyles. From the mullet to the perm and beyond, the 80’s were a decade of hair–you can pretty much tell if a photo was taken in the 80’s just by looking at everyone’s haircut.
