Isn’t it funny how when you’re a kid, you have no perception of how the world really works or of how much things actually cost?
And, on top of that, you really have no clue about what’s actually classy or is a quality product.
But as you grow older, all that stuff comes into focus and it’s kind of fun to look back on those times and laugh at yourself.
And that’s what people on Twitter did recently in a very funny thread.
This tweet got the festivities kicked off.

2. Oh, man…
So jealous of people who had water beds.
Water bed. Class meant rich and nothing said rich to me more than a water bed or an in-ground swimming pool. https://t.co/Nj5JaMwnTi pic.twitter.com/N1F3f9Ywxc

These things are pretty good, though.
The five strawberry candies that came nested in the box! I didn’t see them sold as a whole bag until I was adult and I LOST MY MIND! pic.twitter.com/K2tV180qaP

10. In the big city.
Gettin’ wild!
Holiday trips to the city; which could mean dinner at Benihana—Oooh! The chef cooks the food right on the table! Or, Lüchow’s—Sachertorte and a Xmas tree so tall it goes right-through the ceiling! Or, Scandia—What’s smorgasbord? Or, Tower Suite—Whoa! Just look at that view! https://t.co/FwElskfyYI pic.twitter.com/TkNfD968O2
