Ahhhhh, high school.
Football games, dances, reading, writing, ‘rithmetic…and SCANDAL.
Oh yeah, I’m sure you remember. There was always a big story circulating among the students (and usually the teachers, too) about something crazy that happened and it was like a reality TV show playing out in real life.
She did WHAT? With HIM? Nooooooooo!
Scandals would come and go but there was always that one that had the entire school, the staff, and the parents talking. Heck, even the janitors were interested in these sordid tales of high school scandal.
People talked about the biggest scandals at their high schools on Twitter. Let’s take a look.
1. These are both crazy.
One a little crazier than the other…
My gym teacher murdered his wife. The kid who worked at the town garbage dump took the front page perp walk photo from all the discarded newspapers and made a daisy chain of the bad guy handcuffed to himself and posted it around the cafeteria.

3. Avoid this one.
But, sometimes crazy can be very HOT.
The hottest girl in school put her hand in a blender when the Christian Slater of the school broke up with her. She came back with a cast and somehow it made her hotter.

4. Stealing from the store.
That wasn’t cool…
The Treasurer of the school store got caught stealing inventory – Snapples and Surge soda of all things.
And I once said the word “freakin’” on the morning announcements, teachers thought it was too close to the eff word, so I got suspended from homeroom for a month.

White guy dreads…hmmmm…
Idk if this is a scandal but the guy voted “best looking” senior year declined because he “didn’t want to be remembered that way”. We were all back for Thanksgiving freshman’s year of college and he had white guy dreads 🙁

Principal said “booze at Prom =can’t walk at graduation”all her faves had booze at Prom and non popular kids voted to not let them walk at graduation & she lectured us.

7. Shut down.
That’s pretty nuts.
My school got shut down by the IRS because they didn’t pay the teachers for an entire year and then claimed on taxes that they did but meanwhile told teachers to have faith that god would provide if they continued to “minister” to the kids. (Private christian school in FL.) https://t.co/PCsEjXxthQ

8. Not a smart move.
You really shouldn’t do that kind of stuff.
Football coach paid a guy to walk into practice and shoot him with blanks in front of team as a motivational tactic before the playoffs. Kids called 911 before the coach could explain it wasn’t real.

A girl walked off the stage at graduation and handed a teacher her phone number in front of the entire auditorium. They were living together by the end of the summer.

12. The Burger Wars.
Things got heated.
they built a brand new McDonalds two blocks from the school, parents not happy, then burger king built a location across the street from the school.
