14 Parents Who Are Way Too Excited For School To Begin

Summer vacation might be heavenly for kids, but for parents it can be hellish. Unlike during the school year, when the kids are out of the house for at least six hours a day, in the summertime parents are with the kids 24/7. We all love our children, but that’s a grind. (I’m pretty sure this is the entire reason summer camp was invented.)

Then, when school resumes, the roles are reversed: most kids aren’t exactly thrilled, while lots of parents view it as THEIR vacation. In recent years moms and dads have been taking more honest “back to school” photos that reflect this.

What’s great about these photos is the the kids. Even if they’re not thrilled about going back to school, they at least seem to be in on the joke. Nice job, everyone.
